Help Us Clear Our Debt – Support Masjid Maryam
Alḥamdulillāh, by the mercy of Allah (S.W.T) and the generosity of this community in Middlesbrough, Masjid Maryam has now been open for almost a full year. In this short time, it has become a home for prayer, Qur’an, learning, and unity — a place where hearts connect to Allah and families grow together upon the deen. What was once a vision is now a reality. Five daily prayers are established. Jumu’ah fills the masjid. Classes are running. The community is thriving. But this blessing came with a responsibility. To secure this house of Allah, our Masjid took on a Qard-e-Hasanah — a trust that now remains upon our shoulders. We currently have £250,000 remaining to repay. Now, we ask you to help us complete what we started together. By contributing towards this remaining Qard-e-Hasanah, you are:

Clearing a debt for the sake of Allah ﷻ

Strengthening it's foundation for future generations.

Investing in ongoing Sadaqah Jariyah

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow's nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise" As we approach Ramadan — a time when rewards are multiplied — let us come together and lift this final burden from Masjid Maryam. £250,000 remains. Help us clear our debt and secure the future of Masjid Maryam for generations to come. What Your Donations Will Protect & Sustain
A Permanent, Secure Space for Salah
Masjid Maryam is alive with the five daily prayers and Jumu’ah each week. Your support will help secure this house of Allah debt-free, ensuring our community always has a warm, welcoming place to pray in comfort and unity.
A Dedicated Space for Our Sisters
Our sisters already benefit from their own space for salah, classes, and gatherings. By helping us clear the remaining Qard-e-Hasanah, you are safeguarding a dignified and serene environment where they can continue to worship and grow.
A Thriving Community Hub
Masjid Maryam has become more than a prayer space — it is a place of reminders, connection, and belonging. Your contribution helps preserve a centre where families gather, hearts reconnect with Allah, and the community strengthens together.
Youth Tarbiyah & Mentorship
Our young people are already learning, growing, and benefiting from guidance within the masjid. Clearing this Qard-e-Hasanah ensures we can continue nurturing their īmān, character, and leadership without financial strain holding us back.
Ongoing Islamic Education for All
Classes, circles, and learning opportunities are already running — for children and adults alike. Your donation helps secure and expand this foundation, allowing knowledge to continue flowing for generations to come. How You Can Help – The Time Is Now We have just £250,000 remaining to repay our Qard-e-Hasanah — and we urgently need your support to clear this debt. This is our moment to come together Every pound counts. Every donation moves us closer to freeing our masjid completely. Whether you can give £10, £100, £1,000, or more, give today and be part of lifting this final burden from the House of Allah. Do not delay. Do not assume others will carry it. Step forward. Take your share of the reward. Help us secure Masjid Maryam for generations to come. May Allah reward you abundantly and make this heavy on your scales. Āmīn.
